
Lisbon shines at the Francis Marion University Invitational
Patience Lisbon takes first place in both of her events in dominant fashion at the FMU Invitational.
Florence, SC: Track and Field had podiums everywhere at the FMU Invitational. Including 3 1st place finishes with Patience Lisbon racking up 2 and Lyniah Kitt taking 1st in the triple jump.
TOP PERFORMERS:
Patience Lisbon: 1st place in the 200m and the 100m hurdles.
Lyniah Kitt: 1st place in the triple jump.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Track:
100m: Diamond Bailey took 6th place with a final time of 13.31s.
100m Hurdles: Patience Lisbon took 1st place with a final time of 15.14s.
200m: Patience Lisbon took 1st place with a final time of 25.86s.
400m: Alejandra Alonso took 2nd place with a final time of 1:05.08s.
Field:
Triple Jump: Lyniah Kitt took 1st place with a final distance of 11.4m. She bettered her next opponent by almost a full meter, with second place, with a distance of 10.44m
Discus: Adriana Beaty took 2nd place with a final throw of 30.30m.
Long Jump: Kat Andrews led the Cobras with a final distance of 4.35m and a 5th place finish. Taking 6th behind Andrews was Harley Gardner with a final distance of 3.73m.

The Cobras are heading to compete in the Sharonda Colmon Invitational on April 19th to prepare for the SAC Outdoor Championships.
