JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – Jordan Roy and Jenna Pacyna each scored a goal to lead the Coker women's soccer team to a 2-0 South Atlantic Conference victory over the Carson-Newman Eagles Saturday (Oct. 18). The Cobras are currently on a three-match win streak.
After a scoreless first half, Roy got the scoring started, finding the back of the net in the 49th minute off of a rebound. Pacyna would add an insurance goal in the 82nd minute off an assist from Salina Maynard.
Lizz Morris picked up her third straight clean sheet; stopping all 14 shots she faced on the afternoon.
The Navy and Yellow will be back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 22) when they travel to Newbery for a South Atlantic Conference tilt with the Wolves. The match is set for a 3 p.m. kick-off.
