Armengol Competes in NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship
Omar Armengol of the Coker University Wrestling team traveled to Park City, KS, to compete in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship.
Armengol, who finishes the season with a 20-7 record, was able to score four points in the meet on Friday. Armengol was able to get his points off of an escape and a takedown early on in his first bout.
It was a highlight worthy season for Armengol, as he was able to finish third in the NCAA DII Super Reigional II tournament back on March 2nd. Armengol finishes the season gathering 8 major decisions, 4 falls, 3 decisions, and 5 technical falls. Which would help the Cobras to a 9-5 record on the season.
