Cobras Host Koalas in Thursday Night Home Opener

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse will host Columbia College (S.C.) in their home opener on Thursday (Feb. 16). Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras dropped their season opener to Mount Olive 17-6 on Saturday (Feb. 11). Faith Kent led the charge with a hat trick, while Marabeth Durden, Haley McCusker and Katie Driskell also tallied goals.
Kent leads the Cobras with three goals, which is tied for fourth in the conference. Cassie Williams is tied for the league lead in saves with 15.
The Koalas come into the game with a 1-1 record on the year. Kendra Blackstock leads the team with six goals so far on the season.
Opening draw is set for 6:00 p.m. at the Coker College athletic field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
