HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse dropped its non-conference matchup with Merrimack 13-3.
Faith Kent scored twice, picked up one assist and picked up one ground ball. Haley McCusker picked up the other Coker goal, as well as firing five shots on goal and picking up five ground balls. Cassie Dodge (4-3) took the loss in the cage, making three saves. As a team the Cobras won 10 draw controls and picked up 35 ground balls.
The Cobras take the field again on Saturday (Mar. 26) when they play host to conference foe Wingate. Opening draw is set for 5:00 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
