HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball will host South Atlantic Conference foe Carson-Newman on Saturday (Jan. 14). Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras fell to Newberry 64-42 in their last action on Wednesday (Jan. 11). Iresha Cooper finished with a team-high nine, while Sydney Shull and Kendra Lambert each registered seven. Six other Cobras contributed points in the contest.
On the year, Cooper paces the Cobras offensively, pouring in 12.1 points per game, 16th-best in the league. Cooper also leads the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 55.1 percent.
The Eagles come into the matchup 9-6 overall and 6-3 in the South Atlantic Conference. Mika Wester leads the team in scoring, averaging 18.2 points per game, fourth-best in the league.
Tip-off is slated for 2:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
