Cobras Fall to Queens in Conference Action
The Coker College men’s lacrosse team fell to Queens 22-9 on Saturday (Apr. 15) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference action.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Coker College men's lacrosse team fell to Queens 22-9 on Saturday (Apr. 15) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference action.
Garrett Kilgore led the way with three goals, while Patrick Timothee added two more for the Cobras. Vinny Magro, Drew Thomson, Ludcas Hediger and Charles Stafford added one goal each, and DeShaun Ormond chipped in with an assist, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
The Cobras jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first seven minutes, thanks to back-to-back goals from Timothee. They enjoyed another 3-0 run late in third and early fourth quarter with goals from Kilgore, Thomson, and Stafford.
Coker is back in action on Monday (Apr. 17) when they travel to Lees McRae College for a non-conference game at 3pm.
