Cobras Drop Non-Conference Game to No. 18 Saint Leo
The Coker College men’s lacrosse team dropped a non-conference game to No. 18 Saint Leo by a 14-5 final score Saturday (Feb. 25) afternoon.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference game to No. 18 Saint Leo by a 14-5 final score Saturday (Feb. 25) afternoon. Denton Wilks, Vinny Magro, Charles Stafford, and Brooks Long all tallied goals in the loss.
Magro led the scoring effort with two goals during regulation. The Coker attackman notched his first goal in the second quarter and added his final goal in the third quarter.
Statistically, the Cobras were edged by the Lions in ground balls (33-25) and shots (38-30). In addition, the Cobras played well in transition completing 14 of 18 clears. The Cobras will be back in action when they open up South Atlantic Conference play next Saturday (Mar. 4) against No. 14 Lenoir-Rhyne at the Coker Athletic Field.
