
Ian Blue and Max Hurray Garner All-Conference Awards
Ian Blue named to third team, while Max Hurray draws all-freshman nod.
ROCK HILL, SC. - Ian Blue and Max Hurray received recognition as part of the conference's end of the season awards. The conference office announced Coker's Ian Blue to the third team with Max Hurray drawing a nod to the all-freshman team Monday morning.

Blue has been selected to the All-SAC Third Team. Ian poured in a career high 13.1 points per game this season to lead the Cobras. The junior saw a massive jump in field goals per game, three pointers made per game, rebounds per game, and assists per game in route of leading the Cobras to a 19-9 regular season record. Blue exploded on the scene this season when he scored 22 and 34 points in back to back games early in the season against Emmanuel and Wingate. The 34 is his career high. Ian has scored in double figures 17 times on the season, and has amassed 368 points on the season. He currently shoots 52.4 percent from the field while shooting 40.2 percent from behind the line heading into this weeks conference tournament. Blue has logged 601 minutes on the season, the most of any Cobra.
MAX HURRAY | G | CRANBERRY TOWN, PA
Max has been tabbed on the SAC All-Freshman Team. Hurray lead the Cobras this season in three pointers made with 62. He shot 38 percent from behind the arc, and 44.3 from the floor to go along with his 12.0 points per game average. Hurray is one of five freshman named to the team. Hurray set his career high against Wingate with 22 points, and tied it against Carson-Newman later in the season. He scored in double figures 22 times on the season, a team best. Hurray has made two or more threes in 20 games on the season, and has made three or more nine times. Hurray averaged 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists to go along with his scoring numbers on the year.
Coker finished the regular season 3rd in the conference, and takes on Catawba in the first round of the tournament Wednesday at 2:30pm.
