
Adams, Cirino, and Mack Named To The All-SAC Postseason Team
Britton Adams earns first team honors, while Ick Cirino and Jaylen Mack take home third team in SAC postseason awards.
ROCK HILL, SC. - Three Cobras were named to the All-SAC teams Thursday afternoon as announced by the conference office. Britton Adams was tabbed a first team relief pitcher, while Ick Cirino and Jaylen Mack received recognition on the third team for outfield and catcher.
BRITTON ADAMS | SR. | #27 | FIRST TEAM RELIEF PITCHER
Britton has been a mainstay out of the bullpen for the Cobras this season making 20 apperances. He has set career highs in appearances, ERA, innings, strikeouts, and WHIP in his senior campaign. Britton has pitched at a team best 1.40 ERA while allowing just 8 runs in 51.1 innings of work. He has a record of 6-1 on the season to go along with 4 saves, both team highs. Adams went on a stretch during the season of 13 appearances in a row without allowing an earned run. Britton has pitched 105.1 innings on his career at Coker while striking out 88.
ICK CIRINO | SR. | #7 | THIRD TEAM OUTFIELD
Cirino has been a steady outfielder for the Cobras this year. He serves as the teams leadoff batter in most of their games with a .351 batting average on the season. He has roped 46 hits, 9 doubles, 1 triple, and 28 RBI. While being one of the Cobras top hitters, he has also causes chaos on the basepaths. He has recorded 12 stolen bases on the season for Coker. Cirino has been a primary outfielder for the Cobras, puting together 79 putouts on the season. On his career, he has a .321 batting average with 86 hits.
JAYLEN MACK | SR. | #6 | THIRD TEAM CATCHER
Mack ranks 6th in the conference with a batting average of .391 on the season. He has put together a stellar senior season with 66 hits, 11 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs, and 42 RBI. Mack has been a staple behind the dish for the Cobras the past two seasons where he has kept runners off the basepaths. This season, Jaylen has put together a .996 fielding percentage. Mack has 22 multi hit games this season to go along with a slugging percentage of .568. In his three seasons at Coker, Mack has put together a batting average of .302 with 133 hits.
Coker is set to play Limestone Friday night in the first round of the SAC tournament at Catawba. First pitch is set for 6:00PM.
