Baseball Travels To North Greenville, Hosts Lincoln Memorial This Week
Cobras hit the road for the midweek before hosting Lincoln Memorial in final home series.
HARTSVILLE, SC. - Coker is set to travel to North Greenville Wednesday afternoon before returning home to host Lincoln Memorial in their final home series of the season. With two weekend series left, Coker is fighting with Limestone for the 4th place spot in SAC standings.

COBRA CORNER:
- Coker is led at the plate by senior Jaylen Mack. He is currently batting .393 with 57 hits on the season. He leads the team with three home runs and 10 doubles.
- Luke Alford is second on the team with two home runs, while sporting a .300 average.
- Gabriel Santiago leads the team on the basepaths with 23 stolen bases. Hunter Poole (18), Alex Lazar (15), Ick Cirino (12), Jaylen Mack (12), and Rocco Wojcik (10) all have double digit stolen bases.
- Casey Cleghorn has pitched the most innings on the mound for Coker with 69.1 on the year. He adds 40 strikeouts to that number.
- Britton Adams has been stelar out of the pen, pitching at a 0.82 ERA on the season. He was named SAC and Region pitcher of the week last week. He has only allowed 4 runs in 43.2 innings of work this season.
- Tyler Satterley leads the Cobras in wins with six on the season. Satterley and Adams each have three saves to pace Coker.
- Coker is currently fielding at a .961 percentage on the season.
LAST TIME OUT:
- Coker stormed back in their midweek game over Barton last Tuesday. The Cobras plated four runs in the eighth inning to complete the come from behind victory. Jaylen Mack was 3-4 at the plate on the night, with Hunter Poole adding a 2RBI performance. Britton Adams earned the save on the game pitching 2.0IP, allowing 0 runs.
- In game one vs. Anderson, Coker used big innings in the third and fifth to take down Anderson 9-5. Hunter Poole once again was big for the Cobras, adding 3RBI on the night at the plate, while Casey Cleghorn and Britton Adams kept the Trojans bats at bay for most of the night to grab game one on the road.
- Game two saw Anderson bring the series even thanks to eight hits on the day. Gabriel Santiago, Hunter Poole, and Alex Lazar all recorded two hits in game two, while Lazar accounted for 3 of the 6 Cobra runs.
- Coker was able to take game three and the series thanks to a nine run ninth inning. Ick Cirino was 4-5 at the plate for Coker while Jaylen Mack put together a sound 3-5 day. Coker ripped 12 hits to sore their 13 runs, and it was once again Adams closing the door over the final four innings to earn the win.
