
Five Cobras Have Been Named to the Academic All-District® Teams for 2023-24
The Coker University community is proud to announce that five of their student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-District® teams for 2024. Cato Bartstra and Kelly Naude from the field hockey team, as well as Mack Bailey, Kelly Campman, and Haylie George from the women's golf team, have all been recognized for their outstanding achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
These student-athletes have shown exceptional dedication to their sport and academics, making them stand out among their peers. They have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives, and their hard work has not gone unnoticed.
Being selected for the Academic All-District® teams is a tremendous honor, and these student-athletes should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments. Their success is a testament to their work ethic, determination, and passion for their sport and studies.

Cato Bartstra is a sophomore, originally hailing from Utrecht, Netherlands. She is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies and currently holds an impressive GPA of 3.95. Bartstra is a talented midfielder/defender on the field hockey team, bringing her skills and passion for the sport to the field.
Kelly Naude is a talented field hockey player hailing from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Standing at 5'3, a sophomore majoring in Business Administration, Kelly excels both on and off the field. With a GPA of 3.91, she demonstrates her dedication and commitment to her academic pursuits.
Mack Taylor Bailey, a senior from Castaic, CA, has been making waves in the conference. With a GPA of 3.77 and a major in Business Administration, Bailey excels not only on the golf course but also in the classroom.
Kelly Campman is a junior from Myrtle Beach, SC, majoring in Business Administration. With a GPA of 3.74, Kelly is dedicated to her studies and excels in her coursework. She is passionate about pursuing a career in the business field.
Haylie George is a junior from Pittsboro, NC, majoring in Biology. George has maintained an impressive GPA of 3.72 throughout her academic career. Haylie is passionate about the field of biology and is dedicated to pursuing a career in the sciences.
