
Alyssa Loo Named Head Coach of Acrobatics and Tumbling
Hartsville, SC- Alyssa Loo has been named Coker University's Acrobatics and Tumbling new head coach, announced today Tuesday, May 11th by Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Facilities, Dr. Lynn Griffin. Loo will replace Brianna D'Angelo.
"I am excited to announce Alyssa Loo as our next Acrobatics and Tumbling head coach," said Griffin. "She has been an integral part of the success of the program over the last two years. She has assisted Coach D'Angelo in all aspects of running a successful program and I look forward to seeing where she takes our program moving forward. My thanks to Coach D'Angelo for laying a solid foundation for our program. "
Head Coach Alyssa Loo is excited to take on the role of leading the Coker University Acrobatics & Tumbling team to new heights. With her experience as a standout athlete and assistant coach, she is well-equipped to guide the team to success both on and off the mat. Loo graduated from Converse University in 2022 with a degree in Business Administration. While at Converse she was a 2022 NCATA All-American, the 2022 Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Year, and was named Athlete of the Week three times. Loo was a two-time selection to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference First Team and she qualified for the NCATA National Championships twice while at Converse.

Coach Loo's passion for the sport and dedication to her athletes make her a valuable asset to the Coker University Acrobatics & Tumbling program. Under her leadership, the team is poised to continue the success it has previously experienced over the last few years.
