Cobras Finish the Spring with a 3.31 GPA
Hartsville, SC- In the spring of 2024, Coker University Athletics saw an impressive display of academic excellence from its student-athletes. With a collective GPA of 3.31, the athletes proved that they were not only dedicated to their sports but also to their studies.
Leading the pack was the women's tennis team, boasting an impressive GPA of 3.79. Right on their heels was the women's golf team with a GPA of 3.78, showing that they were just as skilled on the course as they were in the classroom.
The women's soccer team also excelled academically, earning a GPA of 3.65. Softball, volleyball, and the spirit squad all followed closely behind, each with GPAs above 3.6. Women's XC, and field hockey both earned GPAs above 3.57. Men's XC, women's track, and men's tennis all scored 3.45. Women's basketball completed the year with a 3.36. Men's golf and men's soccer both ended the spring with a 3.24 GPA. Acrobatics and Tumbling as well as both lacrosse teams finish the semester above a 3.00. Men's basketball, wrestling, and men's track ended the year with a 2.90, 2.85, and 2.66 GPA.
Overall, the spring of 2024 was a shining example of the dedication and hard work of Coker University's student-athletes. They proved that they could excel both on the field and in the classroom, setting a high standard for future athletes to follow.
