HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's lacrosse team fell to the visiting Robert Wesleyan College Redhawks 18-7 on Monday afternoon (Feb. 15).
The Cobras held a 2-0 lead after the first quarter and a 5-4 lead going into halftime. However, Roberts Wesleyan outscored the Navy and Gold 14-2 in the latter 30 minutes to take home the 11-point win.
Shane Wilson led the Coker attack with four goals, while fellow classmate Mike Martiello finished with two goals. Rounding out the attack was Rylee Marsh, recording one goal and one assist. Garrett Kilgore, Josh Smith and Adam Zinsmeister also handed out one assist.
The Cobras will take a lengthy break before retaking the field. They will take on Pfeiffer on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
